DEMF-inatly

This lady....is about 60 (asked her myself) idk wtf she thought she was doing but she almost threw the damn hoola hoop into the damn Detroit River. Like wtf, miss? She hit this one dude who was about to choke her, from what it looked like.

The main reason I showed up: Flying Lotus, the god. Man is majestic behind the turntables. Real talk. Like bow. And he's pretty cool. I got a picture with him. And he's funny too. I'll explain. I asked him for a picture as he was lighting up, he was like "uhh....lemme finish this first" so I let him finish, and he posed....then he pulled out another "n*gga, I'm smokin!" so he dropped it and acted cool in the photo so you couldn't tell. Shook my hand too. But some dude said he was like 6'7......whoever that was, I need to smack you. Guy is only like 6 at the most. Dumb euro ass.

.......anyways as Noah Greenia kindly explained to me, this is a cyber raver. All I know is.....dude has a gas mask, and half an out fit. Looks like a Marilyn Manson of sorts. But won't judge. Because I had on my tights that day......and a snow hat in 75-80 degree weather.

This guy.......is funny. I asked him was he hot, and he replied "not really, this is pretty ventilated." Well, for those who don't know, that guy is wearing a full body suit. Head to toe.....literally. Like whoa, right? And he danced too. All girls danced with him because they didn't know what he looked like. I want that suit.....shoulda asked him where I could cop one. Hmmmm.....

You can't see it from this angle, but she don't need to be in a bathing suit. In public atleast. There were alotta chicks who shoulda been covering up, instead of out flaunting stuff. There were also a lot of girls who.........were bad as f*ck.....1 talked to me.....but she bothered me when she said I was British. I denied it and she didn't believe me. Then I said I had a low voice and then she mocked me. B*tch......don't make me have to slap-a-ho. We don't want that, ya dig?

And finally the chicken tenders.....they were good. Expensive (5-7 for just them, 7-9 including fries) but they were on point. Yeah, stereotype, I picked chicken. And? It was good!

So concludes my short blog about DEMF. I planned to do it as I walked but.....that would have been WAAY Chaotic, and I would have ran into like 80 people. So until next time
Jin-Que,
HOB UP!!!!(I planned on doing this from a computer, but my laptop is acting fruity, so bear with me)

So yesterday, I was @ DEMF, or "Techno Fest" as it is more commonly known. And it was AMAZING. I have some pics here, to blog about.

Chicago Music.

Those are the 2 tats I got. on the backs on my arm. They aren't so big, so hopefully I get away with them. Otherwise.....f*ck. Haha.

Found a girl, for my mans Spencer. White chick with no boobs, and dreads. She's a biker girl. Mmhmm. Sexy stuff, huh spency? Haha!!!! We'll make a song just for you, called "Biker Girl" or something of that sort.

That's old but its from the Deltron concert. That's not Del, but Booku-One, and dude is fire. Tried to get a picture with him, but he dipped out, real quick, and I had a contact high, so I was in no condition to chase him.....I did get a phone number though....haha.

Same night. Jack the ripper spray paint. Cold as heck. I might use this as a backround or default picture, but I had to put this up here somehow. Its pretty cool. And pretty original.

And this is that same night after the concert, and buzzed alittle. That's what nicky-p (our drawer) and I get for being near a contact high. Ooh-wee. Head hurt after this one.

So really, this blog was mostly just me blabbing away. Here is the music part: besides the lyrics I made I listened to a bunch of chi-town artists. Lupe, the cool kids, Common, even the Gay Fish, Kanye. Also Twista, the monster, and others. Not really anyone new. Kept it mostly chi-town/mid-west.

So, "call me the machine, because I'm out like trout, but not on the courts, Cash Out, No Pouts."
But really, I'm gone. Gotta leave (again for Chicago) thanks Drew O, and Ik, for letting me crash, and write random words. Thanks to Marty and Deanna for putting up with me for those couple of days. Deanna is a hottie, real talk. And thanks to Justine and Mariel for being cool. Esp Justine. I owe you an apology. Your my new friend.
Thanks to Kat, my sister, for showing me a good time. That's really it, so until next time, Ciao.

HOB UP!!!!
Outtie

So I, dirty rose aka DMG, took a trip to Chicago that was only supposed to be till Thursday. I missed 2 trains (1 was my fault, completely....the other I didn't really miss) and stayed another night. I also wore a pair of jeans, which is eventful. This blog really has little to do with music. So....reader beware: I found out alotta things about myself, in terms of how I deal with people. I also made some new bangin lyrics, approved by R1s (Rob1s) I could forward them hear, but I'm affraid to leak.....I'm not eminem, don't need to, haha.....wack ass.

I lost the girl I <3. On some stupid stuff, don't let stupid stuff get between you and someone you <3. Real talk.....we need a slow love song rob, bwahaha.

I also got tatted up....again. Rob and I are about to be a real rap duo. Rob is getting tatted up!

Tanya Morgan

I browse Okayplayer's messageboards everyday and recently came across a lot of hype surrounding Tanya Morgan. A little while earlier I saw a song with Blu, it was featuring Tanya Morgan. I had never heard of Tanya Morgan so I assumed it was a R & B singer. Nope. A pretty nice rap group. I got the concept-like album Brooklynati (two of the rappers are from Cinci, the other from NY obviously) and the beats are great. Jazzy and upbeat with nice lines. Von Pea, I immideately recognized from one of my favorite songs, Von Sees, from one of my favorite albums Connected by the Foreign Exchange, stands out to me. My favorite song from the album has to be She's Gone featuring Phonte who continues his singing career (check out Leave It All Behind, all good singing from Phonte with only one rap verse from him near the end of the album).

Hardcore Gentleman is pretty funny too. I love the references to past songs too. Nice album, I encourage hip hop fans to check out.

On the HOB front, havent put down any new lyrics but maybe will put some new ones down tonight.

Thats all. HOB up! BobbyOnes out.

Guess Whos Back, Back Again

This past week has been hectic with my sister being violently murdered and taken from my family and I this past Sunday so its been very rough. RIP Courtney.

On the music scene, I've been listening to some new things and some old new things so I'm just gonna cover them in a quick (?) fashion.

Diamond District
I read about these dudes here and there. From little bits and pieces I heard from their In The Ruff album, their debut, they have a good classic hip hop style about them. Streets Wont Let Me Chill is a really nice song. When I get around to it, I'm definitely gonna spend some time listening to their album.

Finale
A Pipe Dream and A Promise. Dope album. Great beats from great producers. He has nice lyrics as I would expect from a Detroit rapper. I have to admit and wonder if I'm alone but he is hard to hear/understand sometimes. My only beef. He has a good flow and those beats are just great. I love Motor Music and The Waiting Game (w/ Invincible).

The Cool Kids-Gone Fishin
Cannon! Brings back memories. At first when I was skipping around random songs on this mixtape I said, "Oh no, Cool Kids fell off!" After sitting down and listening all the way through, nope they definitely improved. Their flow and lyrics have definitely stepped up. Just from the intro you can tell their flow is smooth(er) and while overall I still prefer their older beats/production the ones on this tape are still dope. Art of Noise is easily my favorite track, I love that sample. I think I read somewhere that Bake Sale wasnt a stuido album so I expect their first LP to be great. Maybe 13-14 tracks from 3 to 3 1/2 min would be good for a opening LP. One thing I can guarantee is that they'll be original.

DOOM

I used to not like DOOM. His voice, I found annoying. The lyrics, I found random. The video (for All Caps), I found interesting though. My mind was made up on him when I read he was sending imposters to perform for him on stage. Then all of a sudden I gave him another chance, no homo lol. And Madvillainy blew me away. Madlib is a beast on the beats and DOOM is a monster. He is funny and he throws together rhymes effortlessly. I especially love it when he sets up a line to make you think you have it figured out and he switches it up at the end to be funny. Example: "Spit so many verses sometimes my jaw twitches/ One thing this party could use is more...Booze". Born Like This goes hard too. One spin through and I like it. Batty Boyz is dope and Gazzillion Ear is the best, J Dilla is a beast on the beats! I also got Operation Doomsday but have really only listened to the Doomsday, which I enjoy greatly. I'll listen to the rest tommorow.

Eminem
Relapse! I like the album. I like even the "wack, accent" songs. I have skipped around it but will sit down to listen to it completely soon. I also think I switched over from the Slim Shady LP to the Marshall Mathers LP. Slim Shady LP has better hit songs I think (I LOVE Guilty Conscience), but I guess I have to admit MMLP is a better album, plus you cant go wrong with Stan.

Rock The Bells
Also I think I want to go to Rock The Bells when it rolls on through Detroit. I've only been to one concert, Glow In The Dark Tour, and I missed Lupe.

The Rock the Bells tour in Detroit featuring:
Nas & Damian Marley, The Roots, Busta Rhymes, Big Boi, Reflection Eternal, Slaughterhouse, Slum Village, Tech N9ne, K'Naan, The Knux, Chali 2na

I like Nas, Damian Marley I assume is dope like his pops, I like the Roots, I guess Busta is straight, I like Big Boi, I like Talib Kweli from Reflection Eternal, I like Royce and Crooked I from Slaughterhouse, I like eLZhi from Slum Village, heard of but never heard Tech, I like K'Naan, heard of but never heard The Knux, and heard of but barely heard Chali. So I think if I went, I'd think it'd be pretty enjoyable.

Thats it. HOB up! BobbyOnes out.

Smoke and Rhymes

I almost forgot about this. Haha
Got outta school and went ball and chain unlimited.

Went to The Blind Pig in Ann Arbor, MI. Saw Del The Funky Homosapien better than N*E*R*D* only because no one jumped ya boy. I did get high from 2nd hand smoke. And I am paying for it, because my head is killing me. And I was hungry. Very hungry. Haha.

This blog is taking me forever to write. Kinda ashamed about that.
So I'm gonna wrap it up quick.
It was fun, music was good, day was fun. Now that both Rob an I are in Michigan....look for videos....and sh*t.... Haha.

HOB UP!!!

COOL KIDS, B*TCH!!!! and i dont mean Rob and I

THE COOL KIDS drop tonight!!!! Gone Fishing comes out tonight! @ 12am!!! Hell yeah, b*tch!!! I'm all pumped up and sh?t! Thanks to stennett, our part time to never blogger, I have obtained 2 songs early. "Popcorn" and "Champions" I prefer popcorns do to the sample in the backround ("Hold Up, Wait A Minute") stennett finds that stale, hence why he prefers "Champions" due to its snare, and drum pattern. W/e. "Popcorn" is better to me. But I like them both.

Math final is tomorrow. Gonna flunk, but I'll be free to lyrics write more then.....yay! Sterotypes. I bet my other blog is dying. Shame.

Well that's all I really had to say. I'm falling asleep. Milk and HW don't go well.

I'll update more after the whole album is heard.

P&L.
Dirty Rose, Out Like Trout.
